Day 1 — 食欲の秋 | Autumn Appetite

What does Japanese food sound like? What happens when you order in a Japanese family restaurant? And can you invent a dish that nobody has ever tasted before?

Discover Japanese food vocabulary and onomatopoeia, practise ordering food, and let your imagination run wild as you create and present your own original dishes.

Day 2 — 読書の秋 | Autumn Reading

Step into the world of Japanese stories!

Explore a mysterious restaurant through an interactive story adventure inspired by Japanese literature. Read, imagine, make choices and discover what happens next. Then become a storyteller yourself: use pictures and your imagination to create and share your own stories in Japanese.

Learn Japanese through language, culture and play

Whether you are a complete beginner or already know some Japanese, Nihongo-yoku offers a welcoming and playful space to explore the language at your own pace.

No need to know everything. Just bring your curiosity, imagination and appetite for discovery!
